Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme Accreditation Update

Environmental Filtration Specialists Ltd has for the last 4 continuous years demonstrated compliance with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessement Scheme (CHAS) standards. EF Specilialists Ltd is formally accreded in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK H&S Legislation including the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015.

CHAS is a founding member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum and played an integral part in SIPP since its launch – striving to invest in protecting and furthering its aim: “to improve health and safety standards across the UK and safeguard organisations from risk.” An authority and trusted advisor on health and safety compliance, CHAS is also responsible for setting industry benchmarks and providing the new Common Assessment Standards.

In order for standards to be constantly met, CHAS requires accredited organisations to be re-assessed on an annual basis. The validity of certificates held by and accredited organisations can be vertified on the CHAS Portal and on the SSIP Portal.
